I was supposed to be releasing Make Yourself Sick, Trainwreck, and the self-titled album on vinyl this year, all as split releases with One Day Savior. For whatever reason, Ferret decided it wasn't in their best interest to license the records to us. The boys in Boys are still working on 'em, as they really want us to do it. If we do, I'm guessing we'd go in reverse order from newest to oldest, starting with the S/T LP, or maybe all three at once and then setting up some sort of box set (we'd have to press another 100 of the Broken Bones LP if we did something like that).

Trainwreck would have to be a 2xLP, as it's a long one. It'd have to be spread out over 3 sides, so there'd be a blank side in the mix unless there are some unreleased demo gems or something.

As far as all the different colors go, that's what happens when you order "mixed" vinyl. The last time I did this, I received 500 7"s all on a gross purple color (the HWC Master of Profits 7"). I assumed it would be the same thing here, but we ended up with a pretty huge variation. What they do is take all the leftover vinyl they didn't use on each colored run they did that week and mix it all together so you can end up with quite the variety. Apparently it wasn't mixed too well, as there are a lot of oddball ones in there. As far as the grey and green ones go, those are estimates. I can't say for certain how many there are of each because, quite frankly, I didn't go through all 490 and count which ones were which at the time. I pulled all of the real odd colors out and then just kind of assumed they were all "mixed" after that, until I noticed the pretty big difference between the grey and green LPs. So yeah, there might be 200 of one and 240 of the other....I have no idea. I've seen equal amounts of both though.

You know, I'm really not sure what the deal is. We were discussing the whole thing, we tried to get them to take a smaller licensing fee for the first pressing (we wanted to do 500 of each and the amount they wanted would have been pretty cost-restrictive), and they insisted on the higher amount. Chris from ODS and I were trying to figure out a way to make it work when Ferret just decided they didn't want to license the records at all. BNO was going to work on them this summer to try to get this figured out.

If we did a box set it would just be the same exact thing as the individual records but with an additional vinyl color. Maybe just 180g black or something. We'll see if it happens. I'd really like to put these records out. If anything ever gets confirmed, I'm sure you'll hear about it.
