Skacel
http://postimg.org/image/62lw3f1bf/ I want one so bad! That color looks great with the art. Considering the sticker says limited edition white vinyl it sounds like a bit of a lottery finding one.
dapeebs
Considering the sticker says limited edition white vinyl it sounds like a bit of a lottery finding one. Yeah I've read that it was probably a run off of a color onto the white from a totally different record.
andrewlucas
Yeah I've read that it was probably a run off of a color onto the white from a totally different record. I think I'm just gonna buy a few copies from Amazon or something and hope for a cool color. If they're all white I'll just eBay them for like $15. Gambling! Codifer
My diamond eyes has like a very light brown/black swirl to it here and there anyone else? Love when that happens it gives your record some personality imo.
vinyl addict
It's just extra color from the previous pressing. It's not anything limited. It happens all the time with early presses.
Derek™
It's not anything limited. Debatable. Maybe not limited in the sense of a specifically listed variant, but considering it's 2-4 copies out of thousands, I'd say it's definitely limited. Not unlike the misprinted "cross" variant of Converge's You Fail Me, which fetches $600+. Kanellos
vinyl addict
That's debatable, I guess. No different than people asking all kinds of money for an LP with a messed up label. They never seem to sell though.
Derek™
I'd say that "off" variants are way more likely to fetch a big sale than something with a misprinted label. The record is fully functional, with proper labels and packaging – just on a very unique color-way. It's a lot more desirable than a misprint with two A sides, or bad labels, or something comparably insignificant. I don't know; I'm willing to bet that anyone with a colored Diamond Eyes could probably make a pretty killer profit by throwing it on Discogs, and I'd also wager to say that it wouldn't take long at all for it to sell. I'd love to see one in an auction on eBay, too.

Though I see the odd white LP every now and again where there is just a tiny wisp of black and some jazzdad tries to sell it as a ultrarare marbled variant. Or that guy that was legit upset about the color contamination. jazzdad. KingTacoMunster
Kanellos
holy fuck this is awesome. I have some new found respect for the song/lyrics:
Le Gogh
I'm probably gonna be alone in this opinion (and I'm not saying it's bad because they're clearly talented), but it just reminds me of Evanescence or something, and I don't know why. I can't even get all the way through! Maybe it's the Heartagram tattoo... This does remind me though that 2 friends of mine covered Bloody Cape ages ago, and it's amazing. I may have to upload it somewhere as you guys need to hear it.

I still cant understand how these people will put up 1:1 full covers within a few days or even hours of something coming out. Love hearing the lyrics in a different way though. Theres a lot of great acoustic Deftones covers on youtube I still listen to on the reg.
iron666monkey
That cover gave me a headache. Absolutely terrible. MayCauseDeath
Kanellos
Chino's neighboor, who has proven to be in the know, described what Hearts/Wires sounds like over at SL. Im so pumped now. Sounds like a hybrid of Rosemary's begining with a quick up tempo beat/IOTWCS/beauty school and telepathy from crosses (it's very catchy)

daegor
I folded and bought the Black. I checked the black KNY and it has only increased in price over the years. So get it now or pay more later :/
throughbeingcruel
I'll just buy this for ~$25 when my local gets it. I'd prefer not to have white but I'm not paying $40 for a single LP I'm not in love with.
Juturna90
Isn't this a 2xlp? That being said I think I'll end up ordering the black as well. Love this band and everything they put out.

mindovermatter
While we are talking about Deftones cover songs, I need to post this one again. It's too good:

mrewest
I'll need to check out those covers. The only Deftones cover I had ever heard was Anthony Green's cover of "Diamond Eyes" & it was one of the worst things I've ever heard. Also, I listened to "Smile" again the other day. They should do a surprise RSD pressing of Eros haha.

The retail pressing is as well, according to several listings -- whatever colorway that ends up being (likely white)
