PO Soon: Uncle Acid and Deadbeats - Night Creeper

Recommended Posts

Got my red splatter Die Hard edition in today. It's damn beautiful, but I kinda want a full sleeve still.

Yeah, when I opened the packaging and saw that red glitter art and small post card-sized inserts, I was a little less disappointed. Still, should have been a more substantial cover for the $ they charged, but that red glitter is pretty.

Only just now found out that Rise Above is owned by someone that's a musician himself. Makes it even more difficult to fathom that the label insists on keeping up their insane pricing. Even the shipping is extortionist.

We're obviously not absolved and a huge part of the problem ourselves. Those die hards went like fresh bread.

I only just got around to ordering the red LP that I had been fiending, not from RA but through a distro. Almost cursing myself for doing so already because this definitely isn't as good of a record as their previous ones but I just couldn't stop from going along with the hype around the band. There's something about the whole release that was really good at drawing me in. I blame the combination of the stunning minimalistic cover, the few exceptionally catchy tunes on the album and the overall vibe/image.
