birdwell
Valentina Cholula El Yucateca (all of them) Crystal (there is no BETTER Louisiana style, there are hotter Louisiana sauces sure....but for flavor? Unbeatable) Sriracha (was on board WELL before their little hype machine revved up, will be onboard long after) Honestly, I don't really care for Frank's or TexasPete A guy my girlfriend works with makes all natural hot sauces (they work at Whole Foods, so have access to decent ingredients) His shit (Uncle CC's) has been my JAM for about a year now, he has plenty of variety and plenty of different levels of heat. But it's like a DIY project for him, not made in a commercially approved kitchen so he sells them at our local record shop (Seasick Records) and at artisan markets/farmer's markets since he can't legally sell them. He has a Facebook page for it, search UncleCCsSauce (disclosure, I don't have a Facebook, but a simple google search rendered this info) Worth a shot, Clint is a super nice dude an sells a supurb product
silentgods
Local made hot sauce is the way to go. Like I said earlier my buddy makes a kick ass sauce. Big daddy's hot sauce. The staple is the ass burn, but they have high on fire habanero and eyehategod ghost pepper sauce that is brutal. http://www.bigdaddysassburn.com/
radiatorhums
Sriracha is a perfect go-to hot sauce. It goes well on most things and it has a nice flavour/spice, but I've had much better. Tapatio is the other one that I keep on hand. Thai and True makes a good sriracha as well. Texas Champagne is a good cheap hot sauce too. thebiglebowski
I don't think I've had Taco Bell in 2 years but fire sauce is what I think Mild should taste like. I know it's joked about but seriously, are there any ways to keep your ass from burning after eating really spicy stuff? Like taking some pepto bismal or something? I like spicy food but its not worth it if it puts you on the toilet for an hour.

Regarding the 'ring of fire', I must have built up a tolerance to it or something. The only thing that really gets me still are things that are Paqui's Ghost Pepper chips and I have to eat a lot of them for that to happen. HybridxReality
Yeah, I've seemed to built up a tolerance to it as well. I usually eat spicy things all day and I'm good. Don't know.

I don't really use salad dressing anymore, just hot sauce. All food should be spicy I'm going to make sriracha peanut butter cookies today or tomorrow, should be fun/interesting. Guest
I love Marie sharps hot sauce, the habanero variety. Get it on amazon. I also like franks here and there. Not hot enough though, jimmy won't even call it hot sauce. 'it's just flavoring'

HybridxReality
I just realized that eating a lot of Valentina makes it hard for me to swallow. Don't know why, but I have to rinse my mouth afterwards to clean it up. ?
xspinzx
My go to hot sauce is Secret Aardvark! I love that stuff and it's made in Portland as well so I can get it for like 5 bucks a bottle. Honestly, sriracha is only good on Chinese food. I really like this golden habanero hot sauce called Iguana hot sauce. I'm not really a fan of hot sauces that taste too much like vinager. 'it's just flavoring' Well Jimmy jim jim jim jim jim jim.......You are not the authority on what is or what isn't a hot sauce. I agree, it isn't at all hot, however it is still the kitties titties. HybridxReality
Reviving this great thread. I've been craving canned jalapeños. Haven't had them in so long. They're a must in Mexican households. All my aunts in Mexico have that plastic jar thing filled with canned jalapeños.
