birdturbo
TOCS is the only album of theirs that matters. i actually agree with this. also, if anyone else is looking to toss their Chasing Safety lp (any of the pressings), hit a brother up
gmoney
so DTGL will be a single LP? This question is worth mentioning again. However, I agree with the dude on TOCS being the only thing I really care about. That LP was a game-changer for me, and they never came close to it IMHO. jason
I live in South Florida and I've never seen Underoath live. Considering they're a Florida band, I expected at least a couple shows but didn't have high hopes for the tour coming down to SoFla (because almost NO tours come to SoFla; usually never come further South than Orlando). My personal favorite album of theirs is TOCS, so I was completely stoked when the TOCS & DTGL front-to-back tour was confirmed, only to get bitch slapped with only one FL show that is a minimum 4hr drive each way, making it impossible to see. The small consolation prize was the Double Album, "Rebirth" Ltd Ed vinyl. But of course, it seems the only way of obtaining a copy is to buy a VIP ticket to a show or going to a show and trying to buy it from the merch booth at which only God knows what condition they'd be in... As of last week I was looking for a copy of TOCS on vinyl and now there is a new, Ltd Ed arepress on 180g vinyl of my favorite Underoath album (TOCS) and another amazing c Underoath album (DTGL). I have the $ for the vinyl (and even for tickets, but no way of going to the one Florida tour date in St. Petersburg. IF ANYONE IS GOING TO BUY VIP TIX, PLEASE CONTACT ME SO I CAN TRY TO WORK OUT A WAY TO BUY THE VINYL. I WOULD/WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO WHOEVER HELPS ME! Thank you in advance for any and all help you can provide. It's extremely appreciated! Heh! Peace, ~trexelist (Dan Nussbaum) (I'm basically always on FB & Twitter, along with a GMail.com email and Comcast.net email, all with the same UserName: trexelist ) lol No This Is Patrick, mmhmm and RadDonut
[Banned User]
I'd imagine they'd repress these separately. Doesn't make sense to have it just be an exclusive tour double press. It makes more sense for them to release a non-exclusive press sometime next year. That being said, people will find a way to complain about anything. Damn. RadDonut
TOCS doesn't hold up for me at all. I can listen to a few tracks but that's about it. DTGL on the other hand is still an extremely solid album and I could listen all the time. I think the first press of DTGL was a 2xlp so I'm curious how it will sound as a single LP. Lost in The Sound of Separation is definitely their best though and Disambiguation is surprisingly good too. I wonder how Daniel Davison (Aaron's replacement) feels about this. xfactor675
this band's peak is Define. After that they went downhill. Also for me TOCS is the best and has the biggest value.
NapalmBrain
Dtgl was so disappointing I remember springing for the deluxe cd and not being impressed, then seeing them at warped tour and walking away halfway through the set and pretty much stopped listening to them to this day. Tocs was dope though
himynameisdk
I can't be the only one who's kind of really shocked at how many people are taking shots at DTGL...? Klefki

rcafilm
One thing you could never say about UO is that they don't incite a reaction from people.
throughbeingcruel
Those two albums are all I can stand. I don't count TCOT although I do love it. Just not the Underoath I really know since I got into them with Safety.
llamaface
One thing you could never say about UO is that they don't incite a reaction from people. this. it's kinda cool to see how strongly people feel about specific albums over others. people are all over the place. personally, i'm a big fan of the last two albums and i'd say that DTGL is my favorite of the others, but they're all good in their own ways to me. dvv
not going for an edgy comment but another album of theirs that really that I dug a lot was Act of Depression, it was their older "raw" stuff that really interested me

Was blasting Maylene last night. I chipped my front tooth crowd surfing to him and singing in the mic with him last time I saw them. So much fun.
