Roandy55
Just browsing on ebay and came across this. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Smashing-Pumpkins-Shiny-and-Oh-So-Bright-Vol1-LP-Spotify-Clear-Ltd-to-1000/223276327657?hash=item33fc4e62e9:g:zAIAAOSw-ghcDB4d:rk:1:pf:0 So it's £19.99, no bids, make offer and no reserve that I can see. Edit: The listing has been updated and the seller is now offering international shipping. This is one of the few deals I've seen where they won't ship to the US. #firstworldproblems #smallestviolinplayingasadsongjustforme

Burkazoid
This was featured in the Pinegrove preorder thread, but figured it was worth posting here too in case anyone missed it. Preorder for Pinegrove's latest is up for a mere ~£8.20: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07KZGS5R3/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I think this is due to be a double clear LP release, so it's an absolute bargain. Stress On The Sky
Now HMV has bitten the dust they're having a clearance online, weirdly its not as cheap as I was expecting in some cases. Seems like much of it has been picked over and sold out still might be something in there for some of you: https://store.hmv.com/the-big-sale/the-big-sale-music?sort=most_relevant desc&quantity=24&page=1&view=grid&categories=format&format=Vinyl%2B12"%2BAlbum Not everything is in the sale too which I find odd, unless they are planning on keeping the online part of the business going. Vince Ives
HMV haven't 'bitten the dust' quite yet, there's twenty interested parties who have signed NDAs and the deadline for bids is midnight Wednesday. I imagine they'll either get bailed out by the labels/suppliers, or someone will buy them out and streamline the company some more. The online sale is just standard January sale stuff, nothing's going to be outrageously discounted unless they properly shut down. LPancakes
not necessarily a mega deal but this is the pink variant of weezer - the blue album (doesn't say so on the listing but i had a feeling it was and it came in the post today) https://store.hmv.com/music/vinyl/the-blue-album-(1)
Vince Ives
So that's the Blue album on pink vinyl, Blue Train on green vinyl, and I think Kind Of Blue on orange? I hope the new Canadian owners are better at matching stuff. (looks almost certain that Mike Ashley isn't getting his grubby hands on the place, which is great)
Roandy55
With the HMV takeover being confirmed, they have just announced the stores that are set to close, including Oxford Street. Fopp in Earlham Street appears to have survived however, a good stock of regular releases and handy if you are on your way to Forbidden Planet. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-47132310 whoa
Stress On The Sky
Love that fopp. See Romford has survived the cut so when I'm in my folks neck of the woods I still have that. Westfield has been closed a while already.
Stress On The Sky
Nothing particularly obscure or earth shatteringly cheap but www.recordstore.co.uk have got a bunch of stuff down to just over a tenner. https://www.recordstore.co.uk/recordstore/Cheap-AF-Vinyl/ Bought from them before and they've yet to let me down. EDIT*** **** Also worth setting the search up as price low to high as there's additional titles I would say are being charged at sale prices including Sonic Youth, The Cure, CAN etc. Edited March 5, 2019 by Stress On The Sky
ExtraFox
Not a deal I'm afraid, but this would probably get lost in the main board. Has anyone had any dealings with Elsewhere in Margate? I placed an order in November and there is still one record outstanding. I haven't had a response from them in a month via email and no-one answers their 'phone number or responds to attempts to contact them via social media platforms. I’m sure the person who owns the shop posts here. Used to be monkeyboy records. Edited March 11, 2019 by Skacel
