brettwilks
I won't lie. I'm not a cassette collector, but I caught a band called The Unconditional Love in Brooklyn recently. They were the opener, and I wasn't familiar with them, but they blew me away. I talked to the band after the show, and they gave me a cassette. It turns out the lead singer was also the artist behind the album cover for Father John Misty's Fear Fun. I think it's a sweet recording. You can listen to the record for free and buy the cassette here: http://dimaandthevisionquest.bandcamp.com/releases. They said the cassette is limited to 100 copies. The Unconditional Love is the same singer, but it's just guitar and drums...they've got a couple demos here: https://soundcloud.com/theunconditionallove. Not sure if ya'll will be fans, but I'm excited to see what else they come out with.
