gir676767
Toothgrinder forthcoming album Nocturnal Masquerade, is exactly the kinda ripper than made us love this band in the first place: it has all the syncopated, flagellating insanity you’d expect, but it also has moments of quiet, seething melody. If the song were a famous cinema serial killer, it would be more Hannibal Lecter, less Jason Voorhees: okay, sure, it’s gonna skin you alive and then wear that skin as a costume, parading around as some horrifying parody of you, but it has a really intelligent, super-creepy plan for how to go about breaking into your home, accomplishing its dirty deed, and escaping without leaving behind any evidence. It’s that kind of song. Check out “The House (That Fear Built)” below! Nocturnal Masquerade comes out January 26, 2016 on Spinefarm.
