kurtz
The reissue you have all been waiting for! Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass Whipped Cream And Other Delights http://www.musicdirect.com/p-362304-herb-alpert-whipped-cream-and-other-delights-180g-vinyl-lp.aspx Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass Whipped Cream And Other Delights on 180g LP Remastered from the Original Master Tapes in Celebration of the Album's 50th Anniversary!Herb Alpert has over five decades of unprecedented breakthroughs as an artist, record executive and philanthropist. 50 years ago, Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass released the iconic album, Whipped Cream & Other Delights. In celebration of its momentous anniversary, this classic of American pop music is once again available on vinyl, remastered from the original master tapes and sounding better than ever on 180-gram LP. Reissue packaging also includes the artwork from the original 1965 release. Whipped Cream & Other Delights was the best-selling album by Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass, spending 8 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Charts and an incredible 41 weeks in the Top 40. It features the #1 single "A Taste Of Honey," which won three Grammy Awards and the title track, which became famous as the theme song for The Dating Game. Not to mention the eye-catching cover, which defined the era as much as the music on Whipped Cream did. A 2006 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Herb Alpert's albums have sold over 72 million copies, he's won nine Grammys and received the 2012 National Medal of Arts from President Obama. Alpert also co-founded A&M Records in 1962 and headed the label for thirty years. In that time he mentored generations of pop icons, from The Carpenters and Cat Stevens to Sting and Janet Jackson. http://www.musicdirect.com/p-362304-herb-alpert-whipped-cream-and-other-delights-180g-vinyl-lp.aspx http://www.musicdirect.com/p-362304-herb-alpert-whipped-cream-and-other-delights-180g-vinyl-lp.aspx http://www.musicdirect.com/p-362304-herb-alpert-whipped-cream-and-other-delights-180g-vinyl-lp.aspx

Mourning Wood
It'll sell because all these bullshit "remastered from the original original super original master tapes in an all analog environment on equipment that hasn't been used since 1971 and pressed on 9,000,000 gram extra ultra never seen the sun quadruple virgin vinyl at a triple secret pressing plant in Mauritius where there no are environmental laws to keep them from doing it the way it was done in the really good old days, and housed in a 27" thick cardboard slip case made from old growth redwood super board, with a hand-tipped on spot varnished offset printed cover, made using the original negative and hand numbered in a minute edition by the grandson of the original cover model, who is sadly long-dead." $85. unknown pleasures
This is really exciting news. This reissue was fourth of my want list, right behind: 1. "The Best of Perry Commo" Readers Digest Collector's Edition box set. 2. Random, extremely dusty Glen Campbell 45 in generic white sleeve. 3. Beat to hell sleeve of some random Beatles album with heavy pen scribbling, John and Paul's eyes crossed out and hearts around Ringo's head, missing the vinyl. Thank you, vinyl comeback!!! mmhmm, aju2streets and aflycon

cemeterytapes
BEST HEAD EXPLOSION EVER! But seriously, I work in a record store and we're still sitting on tons of the Springsteen represses from Record Store Day. They're marked down to cost too. So I can't imagine that there is a big market for this...
