Press Release:

The album, recorded in Malibu, LA and London, was produced by Norwegian duo Stargate together with the band’s long-time collaborator Rik Simpson. It features more guests than any previous Coldplay record, with Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo and Merry Clayton among those appearing across its 11 tracks (12 if you count the buried treasure of the hidden track X Marks The Spot).

A Head Full Of Dreams is the widescreen follow-up to 2014’s fragile and lovelorn Ghost Stories, Coldplay’s sixth consecutive worldwide chart topper, award winner and multi-million seller. The band chose not to tour Ghost Stories and headed straight back into the studio to record A Head Full Of Dreams.

Revitalised, they’ve made an album that’s bursting with energy, colour and big, life-affirming moments such as the deliciously ebullient first single Adventure Of A Lifetime and the rocket-powered Hymn For The Weekend.

Coldplay have never enjoyed making a record more than this one. Nor have they been happier with the results.

And, this time, they plan to take it around the world.

I can't order?? Whenever I click on the vinyl it just takes me to the "best selling items" page...

Where are you trying to order from? The Coldplay Webstore variant is in the OP. I'll update with Amazon links when they become available. Amazon UK has it up for CD / Vinyl already.

Really miss the Parachutes Coldplay sound, but I've accepted it's long gone.

New song is by far not their best, but I can dig it...

I've accepted that they never write the same record twice. I fully expected to hear something out of left field. All the more fun!

Is this from a press release? If so, can you link me to the whole thing so I can read it?

I'm totally excited. Looooove me some Coldplay. I think it's interesting that they're going for a 2xLP though; pretty sure everything else they have is one disc.

That is correct. This is also the first time they'll have colored vinyl for a full length. Other than that, the only thing that wasn't standard black was the deluxe edition of Mylo Xyloto (Pic Disc)
