The guy at Numero today in an email told me this when I asked if these new ones that were put up were the same as the original 250 and if it was GID: It's the same. No glow in the dark vinyl was ever made. None of the toxic green vinyl is glow in the dark. Did it ever say it was GID on the website? Regardless, it looks like no GID were ever made. I wonder what their explanation is then for having up like that on the site originally? jhulud Posted May 10, 2016 Share Posted May 10, 2016 Although I was looking forward to it being GITD if it truly was intended to, I'm very happy with it being this translucent "toxic green" as it is. It fits better the overall aesthetic of the box set and also it's pretty thick to be regular ol' standard weight vinyl. So that's an added plus in my book. I just feel misinformed. I think it's great some others got to grab a copy. This is a really high quality box. The book is incredible. J remastered the albums and they added stuff to the book. Pretty sure that's hardly clueless. You do realize that only a small percentage of people care about variants. Numero puts alot of effort into their releases to do it right and they do. Overall though, I'm very impressed by this set and can't wait to give these a spin. Everything is much more heavy duty than I was expecting. Did anyone who ordered this not get some degree of corner damage? My copy has some "crushing" but I think I can live with it - it's only the outer box, afterall. But looking at the packing material and how heavy the box is, it's difficult to imagine anyone would have received it without some level of damage.
