thebilljim
From Repeater Records website: 1/4/16 We are beyond excited and honored to announce that we are repressing CITY OF CATERPILLAR’s “Self Titled” full length for our next release!!! Brandon Evans of CoC, who made the original artwork, has also redesigned his original art for the repress. We’re hoping for a Spring of 2016 release. We’ll be posting updates here and on our Facebook page http://www.repeaterrecords.com/ matthewfrank
cwhitmuzik
I'm so excited, potentially the best skramz album ever
john
I'm so excited, potentially the best skramz album ever CoC is very good, but Document #8 is the best skramz album
thebilljim
I'm a little annoyed to learn of a repress about a year after I dropped an obnoxious amount of money on an original, but yeah. This is an 11/10 album for sure. My totally unsubstantiated and wild hope is that somehow this repress ends up being a 2xLP with a proper studio recording of Driving Spain Up A Wall. GhostTrail
There's some more info in the "Releases" section of their site. Looks like it'll be /1,000. Also, here's the new cover art:
cwhitmuzik
CoC is very good, but Document #8 is the best skramz album I'm more into the ambient/post rocky skramz stuff rather than the in your face heavy stuff, so I think my preference works better on this one, hah. GhostTrail
I hope we can all at least agree that "skramz" is the most obnoxious and annoying genre name. I hate the fact that I even just typed that word. LordZagry

I hate the fact that I even just typed that word. I love this LP and others in the genre and I legitimately had to google skramz cause I have never heard it before. does that include like Neil Perry, Saetia and such? thebilljim
does that include like Neil Perry, Saetia and such? Yup. Also, that word is fucking stupid and I refuse to use it. LordZagry and GhostTrail

Boojie Horsie
much prefer the original artwork of this. fucking brendon should concentrate on finally releasing the new GCS record instead
Eliminator Jr.
Been looking around for an original for quite some time, so this is great news. The redone cover art looks fine to me. Just don't make it a white vinyl repress please..
cwhitmuzik
It works because the word screamo has been bastardized, of course I could just say screamo but that could be misconstrued, with skramz you know exactly what I mean.

It does work. I still hate it. (The word itself, I mean...the genre is still one of my favorites) LordZagry

radiatorhums
Nice! I've considered buying this quite a few times, but kept having trouble justifying the after market price tag. I was never in love with the previous cover art, don't mind that what the plan for this one.

hzielaskowski
When I read things like ambient/post rocky skramz I wish records like this would be left sacred and dead. Please just do not ever repress Saetia "S/T". Some things should be left in peace in memories. I'm still looking for the first press after I've sold first repress. hzielaskowski
I try not to sound like a dork , but emo violence is really important for me . That was a time when I could get a boner in front of the speakers. Now it is not that simple even in other situations. No offence!

jacktownjim
I have an original pressing I grabbed for around $30 shipped within the last year but given the alternate artwork, if any of the variants are particularly neat I might just double dip. Regardless it's cool that this will be more readily available to those that want it in their collection.
Bladew1ll1s1sdead
Dance Tonight! Revolution Tomorrow! is the best skramz record, nerds. LordZagry
jacktownjim
There are sooooooo many stronger records in the genre than DT!RT! (including the one this topic is about) but hey, to each their own. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
