I'm curious if there was any complications to doing something like this? Any damage to jacket covers or the bottoms of the jacket? Its just a combination of my ADD and aesthetics prefering the book ends better. If i cant find anyone that has had any negative experience with them, im going to at least give them a try. vinyl addict Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 One thing I used to do was melt a few beat up 45s into a "U" shape, with a flat bottom and those would hold all my 45s. monklover Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 put an extra large book against the bookends, then the records.... i had some records in milk-crates that were stored away for a few years... a couple of them were not quite full and a few of the records in those ones leaned, maybe even less than what's in that picture above, and they had some warp to them when I pulled them out last spring... keeping them straight and firmly supported is very important niblips 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dominic_ Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 I use a brick. I put duct tape on the bottom to keep it from scratching my shelf.
