I was just reading through this thread for the first time. Being a long time X-Files fan, I was also a bit disappointed by this 3rd episode. There was times I thought I was watching a SNL parody of the show. The show has always had that element of comedy, some episodes more than others, but this seemed to be a bit much. It was cool to see Tim Armstrong in it. Felt like a nod to episodes of past that had some little punk rock reference in it and Ringo of the Lone Gunmen.
