Tardcore
TV sucks anyway. I do most of my casual Netflix/Hulu viewing on a 32" LCD mounted off the side of my desk. I only sit down in front of my surround setup when I watch something on bluray. If my old ass plasma died, I would consider going the projector route until OLED panels come down in price. ajxd
But really, projectors are cool, but such a hassle. Screens. And I will want an OLED... but not for $2k. Too many other toys to purchase. Like that Rotel. And a sub.

texan4life
Awesome, how you liking Houston? Is it very different from Atlanta?
ajxd
I love it. The woman I've been seeing from GA went to grad school here, so I'd spent a lot of time here before moving. I work in Texas Medical Center, and its unlike any other research community in the world. Though Houston is 4th largest city, its so spread out... doesn't feel like it. ATL is 30th or so... but small so its very congested. The availability of food is equal, but more TexMex obviously. I like it better here. What part are you in? texan4life
Mmm Tex-Mex. Yea, Houstons' roadways were well thought and planned out and that's a big benefit of living there. You're right, it's very spread out. That's awesome though, glad you like it. I live in Austin but, lived in League City when I was little. The best of luck to you. xxmartinxx
Last I was in Houston, there were zero good record stores. That was about 15 years ago, though. I hope things have changed since.
