Le Gogh
Feel free to post in here if you want to talk Pokemon. If you want to trade anything from any of the games, please try and post the following so we can keep a bit of order: What game you're using (e.g. Red/Blue), what you'd like, and what you have to offer. If people aren't comfortable giving out gamertags/Nintendo ID's on here publicly then PM each other with them.

Le Gogh
Oh man! That's some good info, I wasn't sure what wasn't available in yellow. Think I'm going with Yellow for now. I had Blue when they originally came out, and I always wanted Yellow. Plus, I'm not sure how long I can stare at 2 shades of green these days! Hyped for this, I gotta admit that this is probably where my love of "collecting" came from!

Reshiram
They hype for sun and moon is so high right now, kinda disappointed though that we won't get a third sixth gen game, I was really hoping to do more in Kalos. Also currently making a mega pokemon wishlist, so far I got Poliwrath Flygon Parresect Ninetales Mantine
Reshiram
And I should get the pokemon yellow reissue in the coming weeks.
Bladewillisisdead
My ex stole my two gameboys and OG Red, Blue, Yellow, and Pinball carts
FlippingOut
Yellow is the best because pikachu follows you everywhere! But Heartgold/Soulsilver are better because your first pokemon in your lineup follows you! I've been working on that game for a long, long time because I dont have time to play it a lot but I love it (HeartGold)
Young Thug
If you didn't see it on Reddit today, here's how to get Mew in Red/Blue. (it works on the VC versions too) https://i.imgur.com/z9POquw.jpg
museummouth
Silver was the greatest Pokemon game ever. I'm probably gonna rebuy the VC version of blue even though I still have my OG cart. I really enjoyed X as well so high hopes for Sun/Moon. Young Thug
DecayToDeath
One of the saddest days of my preteen years was when I left my DS on an airplane, which was holding my copy of Diamond and a less-than-50-Pokemon-left-until-complete Pokedex. ilikeguitars
Got back into pokemon since red/blue with pokemon x and was able to get all 720. The whole global trading system and breeding made it pretty easy to get the ones i needed.
Reshiram
I didn't get back into it until 6th gen, and I fell in love all over again, mega pokemon are great and the competitive play is super fun. That being said if you have the change to get back into it, you should definitely do it.

Le Gogh
Ok, so I wanna make sure I'm not missing a trick here. But I'm of the understanding that you can't actually trade in R/B/Y unless its locally - like in the originals? If not, they really missed a trick here because online trade really would have opened this up. Unless I'm missing something and you can export to Pokemon Bank and trade with others from there? I believe it is only local trade, which kinda sucks, but I think they wanted to keep the old school vibe of pokémon. As far as bank goes, they said you'll be able to send your pokémon from R/B/Y to Sun and Moon, but that's it.
Le Gogh
Damn. That's what I was afraid of. A shame, but I guess I'll just have to pick up Sun or Moon later in the year! Just at Mt Moon, Mankey and Pikachu are making an awesome double team right now!
