86d
Five years in the making, Population: Ghost Town is the first LP from Long Island lifer-band Go White Bronco. A lineup of musicians culled from 20-year collaborators and friends from local bands like Iron Chic, Fellow Project, Deep Pockets, Splurge, and Ancient Tongue, this nine track debut full length is a mostly bleak, sometimes triumphant existential meditation led by three acoustic guitars, crushing lyrics, and soaring multi-part harmonies. A darker and heavier follow up 2011’s “Life as a Monument” 7” single, Population Ghost Town adds bass, percussion, and keyboards to the ranks. Crosby, Stills, Hash, and Old. Recorded to tape by Ian Bryn (Bridge and Tunnel, Fellow Project, Rations) and mastered by Christian Varga at Mastervargas. http://www.86drec.com/products/568799-go-white-bronco-population-ghost-town-lp http://www.86drec.com/products/568799-go-white-bronco-population-ghost-town-lp http://www.86drec.com/products/568799-go-white-bronco-population-ghost-town-lp Shitty Rambo
monsterrod
Awesome. I hope people don't sleep on this one. I loved, LOVED, Life As A Monument and I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of spins out of this.
