Legitimately did not connect the title of this album with the diagnosis of stage four cancer. I know that's what the album's about, but for some reason it didn't click in my head until I heard the lyric in "Displacement". It broke my heart. I'm sure this is old news, I just wanted to share. I can't get over this album. Logged on to say I didn't realize that was where the name of the album came from either, I assumed they just did it because it was their fourth record. Mainly due to the slight change, I thought it was introducing a "new" TA, along with the cancer subject matter obviously being the main reason behind the title. Although, she was only diagnosed with stage one - we usually refrained from talking about the worst parts of cancer since we were just focused on her getting better. Never referred to it in stages, just "cancer". Considering this was their fourth album and all I originally just thought it was some abstraction, since I don't normally find context with terms I don't use regularly on their own.
