marc32137
I'm an hour south of Jax and we have voluntary evacuations for beachside houses going on now.
jhulud
The latest track has it now making landfall (kinda) right over Ft. Pierce and Vero Beach which is about 1.5 hour north of me. We already got all the shutters up and all the crap from outside, inside the house. Got a cooler full of ice and an 18-pack of PBR. Plus 4 PBR tallboys and countless craft beer bottles I've been "collecting". Hopefully it will all last me. Heh. marc32137
At this point it looks like I'm gonna go to work tomorrow morning and just crash there over night. I really don't wanna try to commute with 70 mph winds Friday morning.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So... My boss lives in Tampa, and was flying home on Friday. I take it that's not happening, huh?

jhulud
Rain and wind have considerably picked up. It should get real hairy for us here in Boca area around 10pm or so.

marc32137
It's moving more offshore. Still gonna be strong, but average expected winds where I am dropped from 80 to 50 mph. You doing okay, Juan?

Thomas³
Is it looping back around, and not going up towards the Carolina's anymore? I haven't had a chance to read the new today.
