nancy_raygun
I didn't make it to a lot of shows this year, and for the most part the ones I did get to were kind of lame. Like I saw Waaves and Best Coast earlier in the year and there were a bunch of kids around. Then I caught Beach Slang but no one bothered to let me know it was just the lead singer touring on his own. But I saw The Cure at this smaller outdoor ampitheather and they played a 3 hour set. And then I saw John Doe at a honkytonk roadhouse bar, which was pretty sweet. Especially because he was touring with DJ Bonebrake, which I didn't find out about until the show started. He signed my copy of his book but spelled my name wrong.
texan4life
^same, I made it to 13 shows so a top ten wouldn't be necessary. Chance the Rapper and Kanye West would be at the top though. Edited December 19, 2016 by texan4life

throughbeingcruel
I saw Tiny Moving Parts twice, one headlining and once opening for Touché Amore. Those two shows and finally seeing Dashboard Confessional at Taste of Chaos were the highlights of my year. I caught a ton of shows this year though. mrewest
Florence & the Machine was my favorite show of the year. She is fucking amazing live. Sleepmakeswaves was number 2, even though they were an opener. They destroyed the stage in just 4-5 songs. Owel is number 3. Maybe the most personalized show ever. Only like 5 people there knew them, & I, my brother & wife were 3 of the 5. They shouted me out & let me pick a song. Plus got to hear a new song. Then we drank with Jay. Maybe this was number 1 lol. chkadea
