captainmorgan
i can only defend my owning about 50 copies of reinventing axl rose by stating the first song we danced to at our wedding is on it, we need to own these. Awwww. Which song? Due to historical circumstances beyond either of our control, my girlfriend and I have decided that Cavalier Eternal is the closest thing we have to "our song." We have definitely discussed, however, the fact that were we to play it at our wedding, our relatives would be seriously confused.
flood
i still love you julie. my friends band covered it for us at the reception.. it was amazing because 95% of the people in the room had no idea what the hell the song was. its good that she loves the song... having to explain an almost foot thick stack of the same record would be difficult otherwise. chunkrock
That's a pretty killer first song to dance to. When I get married I hope to have some sweet music at my wedding. No shitty dj that's for sure. My girlfriend is generally ok with my vinyl collecting I feel bad when I talk to her about it sometimes but she reassures me that my 'nerd talk' is 'endearing'. Plus I don't collect multiple pressings and colors of albums (for the most part) so that's alright too.
