Sidney Crosley
Has anyone heard about some Canadian RSD exclusives? Usually there are only a few, but I can't seem to find anything. @justindinealone, anything for this year?

Jettkoral
Super excited for the Flat Duo Jets boxset. The 7" set that label did last year was cool. Would love to see the album 'White Trees' on vinyl eventually.

Paying through the nose for a limited copy and having to re-buy the other four albums in the box just seems appropriate. I'm torn on this myself. I REALLY want that record, but do I want to fight people to pay through the nose for a boxset of other records I already own when there's a good possibility it will be released by itself at some point? mal215
Sorry if it's been asked, but does any one know the pressing numbers for both Cocteau Twins albums?
RockPuppetz
Idk if anyone else was excited for Ike Reiko record, but I was. Then I saw it was done by bamboo records a notable record label for pressing bootlegs. They made a bootleg of Ike Reiko's record a few years back so there is little doubt in my mind that this is a bootleg, and if that's true then this might be a new low for RSD allowing a bootleg in their official line up... MCDELTAT
Hmmm.... and this is why you wait for the list. Everything rumored didn't interest me, this does. Against Me, Dillinger, The Germs, Greg Graffin?, Sunny Day Real Estate. I'll have to give that Tegan and Sara release a spin too.... never even gone that far back in their catalog. jhulud
Overall, pretty dismal list again this year. Not much that grabs me and will entice me to head out early. Only releases I'll be going for though: Coheed The Sundays White Zombie 7" Tommy

I have the pressing of this from 2012 and it's not bad at all. Didn't even realize it was a boot when I bought it (the original press from 1971 goes for $500+ depending on the shape). But, yeah, RSD folks should be more cautious about the labels they allow in.
floyd_z
So this year all the records are going have "Support Indie Record Stores.... Not Flippers" screen printed on them? Neat! Only really interested in that Doors album, maybe the Pink Floyd, but it's probably only two tracks. Both will probably be gone immediately. I would probably wait in line if they did a full live early Pink Floyd release. It would be nice if they would at least include a track list. No This Is Patrick
Wouldn't mind the Star Wars 10" I guess? Seems easy to get and the world won't end if I don't find it...
Canuckle
I view this list in a positive light.. OUT with the overnight lines just to get shuffled through a line to miss out on what you want and not actually stick around your record store; IN with the casual drop-in to see what is up and maybe pick up something else that has a RSD markdown! The lack of flipper bait on this list is refreshing, even if it means nothing that exciting to get riled up for. gregggdavis
Fowty Dollaz
Yeah, RSD aside, there's some pretty cool stuff getting pressed for the first time or repressed right now. I'll take a preorder over rsd any day of the year. tape and kannibal

pizza face
I wanted the Alice in Chains release but not on a 2 x 7" - I don't find enjoyment in listening to one song on each side....I just want a damn repress of Facelift. So I remain waiting. For now I still only want UGK and probably Big L I wish the tracklist for Big L was released but my guess is that it's: Devil's Son Devil's Son (Instrumental) I Shoulda Used a Rubba School Dayz Timez Iz Hard Games Females Play Edited March 22, 2017 by pizza face

Available for about 15 bucks. No need to wait till rsd Thanks for the info. I'll prowl Discogs and then on RSD if a store has it I'll check to see if there's anything special about these editions (outside of colour vinyl or a coupon code for extra tracks I'd be surprised). I was at the right age for those excellent CD reissues in the early 2000s. I think they're a cut above a lot of their peers, tbh. More witty, able to incorporate folk influences as easily as The Mekons (but in a uniquely British way)... A clear influence for the punkier proponents of the American neofolk movement at the time of the reissues like Jeffrey Lewis. numanoid

paralyticstalks
Called a few of my local stores to see if they could get the Cocteau Twins LPs in and the general consensus was basically "no". Does anyone know if any UK stores or distros sell leftover RSD stock online the day/week after? I seem to recall Banquet doing that but I can't remember for sure. That seems to be my only chance unless a friendly person on here is willing to try to snag them for me <

The flippers are actually supporting the indie record stores, are they not? Maybe I'm overthinking it.
