The songs have been growing on me. Kind of reminds me of Stars' No One is Lost - indie band I mostly like goes kind of disco and I like it more than I thought I would, despite pretty disappointing lyrics (what I've heard so far anyway).

No One is Lost definitely grew on me - can't wait for the new Stars album!

Thanks for the link.  Choosing to not listen to this one just yet because we're like 2 weeks out from release date and have nearly half the album in singles format thus far.  It feels like Everything Trickled more than anything else.

Honestly, I can't really say i enjoyed the song on the first listen, but this is a grower man...really like it now after a few listens.

Yeah I will do the same if they release another song, really hope they don't surprise release the record before it comes out though, i don't wanna listen to it on spotify for the first time instead of holding the record in hand...so if they do maybe i'll hold out

I pray to the Lord of Light these aren't lyrics.

Quote

[Verse 3]
Dance with your boyfriend all night long
Tell him you really really love his song
Close your eyes, its me you're gonna see
There ain't no way to fake it

[Hook]
Chemistry (Chemistry)
Chemistry (Chemistry)
You and me, we've got (Chemistry)
Chemistry
You and me, we've got (Chemistry)
Baby you and me
Could this be that (Chemistry)
Chemistry, baby you and me

[Verse 4]
Go to the city, go to the store
Ask for a loan from another bank
Call your mother, make an excuse
I'm gonna have you baby it's no use

[Pre-Chorus 3]
(Chemistry) I know you
(Chemistry) Girl I know you
(Chemistry) Feel like I know you

[Verse 5]
Well you've got one choice, maybe two
You can leave with me or I'll go with you
I know you haven't even met me yet
But you're gonna love me baby when you get to know me

[Pre-Chorus 4]
(Chemistry) You know me
(Chemistry) Girl you know me
(Chemistry) Feel like you know me

[Hook]
Right, you and me, we've got (Chemistry)
Baby you and me
Could this be that (Chemistry)
Chemistry, baby you and me
You and me, we've got (Chemistry)
Chemistry
Baby you and me
Could you start to see that (Chemistry)
Chemistry, baby you and me
You and me we got chemistry
Baby you and me
Could you start to see that
Chemistry, baby you and me

Really didn't like "Chemistry" or "Peter Pan" after my first listen. They have grown on me though.

I think Peter pan is alright.

Overall I think the album is pretty solid. For me chemistry is the only clunker. The only other bad thing I can say about it is that it may be their worst lyrically, I think musically, it works. That being said, they can probably switch out of trying to do dance music for the next album. They aren't LCD.

Cancelled my order too.  I didn't really care for the singles and hearing the entire album only reinforced that I don't like the direction they went in.  I thought the title tracks, the Infinite Content(s) and Deserve Love were decent, but that was about it.  The songs that had a real strong funk or disco sound were unpleasant.  It might grow on me, but I'm pretty sure I'd rather have my $30 or whatever for now.

it is fortunate that this band sucks now, because I wouldn't want to support them after their stupid concert "dress code" comments earlier this week.

Which comments?  When they tweeted "wear whatever you want to any of our shows"?  I believe Apple is somehow involved with the venue / performance and that's where any formality requests initially stemmed from.
