There's a lot of good music coming out these days. I feel like ever since Odd Future came out and did their own thing in 2011/2012- more and more people are doing what they want to do with a lot of alt-rock, emo, and metal influences. I've been listening to a lot of Ghostemane, $uicideboy$, and nothing, nowhere. Starting to get into Lil Peep as of recent.  What are some of your favorite artists right now? I want to find some new people to listen to.

Here are some tracks by them:

GHOSTEMANE x Clams Casino - KALI YUGA

$UICIDEBOY$ - NEW CHAINS, SAME SHACKLES

nothing, nowhere. - i've been doing well

lil peep x lil tracy - white wine

I've been listening to Nick Grant - Return of the Cool a lot lately and it's really good. I saw a review somewhere that said this was a good throwback to mid-2000s hip hop album, so I checked it out and I'm really glad I did! I can't find the article that put me onto this album now, hell, Nick Grant doesn't even have a wiki page so it's hard to find anything on him. But it has great production, great lyrics, great flow and an awesome album cover. Check out Get Up, Luxury Vintage Rap, Return of the Cool and Drug Lord Couture, but be sure to check out the whole album, it's definitely worth it.

The album 1996 by Dece was fire but now he's not that great imo - I'm waiting on another Propr Boyz tape to drop.

To address the previous posts. I need to hear more Nick Grant and Angel Haze for sure. I remember seeing Sno tha Product during commercials when watching wrestling for a show called Queen of the South I think it is. She isn't bad

Random bump.  But I've been listening to a lot of Lil Peep, $uicideboy$, GHOSTEMANE, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, LIL UGLY MANE, XXXTENTACION, and Ski Mask The Slump God.  Kind of a random combination I know, and I also know that a couple are laughable, but oh well.  Enjoying the hell out of all of them right now,

As far as "Mumble Rap": I dislike a majority of artists of that uhm...genre, but I think the people that are constantly complaining about it is even worse (*cough* TeamBackPack *cough*).

I like the fact that there's something new happening and that Hip-Hop is evolving - whether you think it's headed into a bad stage or not. Change is good.

Really like those tracks.  Never heard of him before but I'm definitely getting some "less harsh" Danny Brown vibes, if that makes sense.

Glad you like too and you're not far off at all!  He is actually a Detroit native and was in Bruiser Brigade with D.B.  He also was on a track on OLD, i think.  I find his vocal flair a little bit different from some others.  Here's one more track:

i've been on a huge Denzel Curry kick recently, saw BBNG over the weekend at FYF and he came out to perform Ultimate with them and it was amazing.

I'll try to upload a vid here over the weekend...

Until then, really digging his new 13 EP, this track in particular:
