MyckelJay
Forgive me if there's already a post like this, but I didn't see one. I'm curious though, what are some of the strangest places you've seen vinyl records being sold at? I've seen people online saying they've bought a couple records from Aldi; seems weird to me. A few years back, I saw a couple copies of "Back In Black" by AC/DC being sold at a Tractor Supply in my area. If you're unfamiliar with it, Tractor Supply is basically Walmart's Garden Center but for farmland. Never would've thought I'd see records being sold next to a bag of horse feed. Oblivions
A batting cage. They had an old box of thrift store records by an arcade machine, priced at like 50 cents each. Nothing good in there but was nice surprise to see. Edited July 2, 2017 by richardsurf
1876records
Urban Outfitters, because that store is for millennial trash. They should just stick to cheaply made clothing and awful re-purposed furniture. The Vool, toxicity and thesewoodenideas

thewezgrays
I came here to say Cracker Barrel (I see that has been mentioned) and at Disney World... *IN* Disney World (picture discs for around 6 or so of the animated movies, at a gift shop in Epcot, I believe)... There's some records at my Best Buy but if you have no idea where to look, you would never know they're there.

Regardless, UO has probably been selling records longer than 50% of the people on this board have been collecting them. scottheisel, jeromium, Shelby and 3 others

freedumb
Local "Winners" had Drake and a a few other records oddly placed with speakers and headphones. An anti-theft device and cabling criss-crossed both ways over the cover. So cool. Edit: And they had 4 records. Roandy55
Interesting OP should mention Aldi. I was in a large branch of Tesco a few days ago where I shop regularly and noticed for the first time they had a rack of vinyl albums. Fairly mainstream stuff, but certainly appears to be an indicator there is no sign of demand for vinyl peaking anytime soon.
