It was definitely a different album for us, and but I'm really proud of how it came out and all of the hard work we put into it. As a label, we generally have stuck with a lot of indie/emo stuff in recent years, but we like diversity, you like diversity, blah blah blah. I'm not sure what the genre is, every time I try and explain Bask it doesn't do it justice. It's akin to Pallbearer and the whole melodic metal/rock thing that might owe a lot to Baroness. I've heard Bask called "Americana metal doom" but that sounds really dumb. If you like heavy bands, you'll dig this. They're going on tour with Pallbearer and Kayo Dot in August, so if you live in the area that the tour hits, then come say hello.
