brianmorgante
Hey everyone, it's been a while. Just wanted to pop in and let you know that there is a new Deadhorse album available now. Here are some details! Band - Deadhorse Album - Crescendo Tracklist: 1. Consumer (Now Streaming) 2. Contamination 3. Corruption (Now Streaming) 4. Curse 5. Conflict (Now Streaming) 6. Cacophony 7. Catastrophe 8. Chaos DETAILS FORMATS: Available on Clear 10" Lathe Vinyl, Hand-cut by Audio Geography Studios - Rainbow holographic foldover packaging - Right now limited to 20, there may be more. CD - featuring all Rainbow holographic cardstock with a collection of mini art-prints included within the packaging Cassette - released by Sunday Drive Records, limited to 50, all clear tapes w/ clear sonic liners and white imprint. There is an entire line of merch to go with the new album. Shirts, dad hats, stickers, patches, a manifesto, and more. There are also 2 limited edition CD versions of We Can Create Our Own World and Decay available - these are in silkscreened packaging with expanded liner notes, a special print version we're doing for our China tour this fall. EXPLANATION: This is a different kind of album. You are not going to find songs that are full bodied and overflowing with content. There is a time and a place for that, but not here. You are also not listening to background sounds. This isn’t an ambient soundscape meant to soothe or evoke an abstract. This is an album that comes from a place of exhaustion. This is an album that comes from a place of confusion. This is an album that comes from a place of defeat, fear and anger. These are intentionally minimal arrangements inspired by the current downward spiral of modern civilization. The expression captured within these simple melodies is just as important as the silence between each note. It is encouraged that you listen to this album in the quietest setting you can find yourself at the loudest available volume. daegor
Something this quiet on a lathe... I know lathe cuts have been improving in quality, but I'm going to have to wait for some reviews before I bite. Definitely interested in a standard vinyl pressing but I get that with this that may never happen.
faaip de oiad
While this is not the Dead Horse that I initially thought it was(I nearly shat my pants). I still want to thank you for posting this because the "Real" Dead Horse I thought it was, is actually releasing a new album in Sept., lol. It's called "The Beast That Comes". So, thx! jeromium

This is why I couldn't bite, I have a couple of lathes that sound decent, but the vast majority are terrible.
drds89
Mine doesn't sound bad at all. I think they only did about 20 of these anyways? My lathe experience is that about 1/4 have been unlistenable/collector item/band support
