Dennis Wilson
Hi everyone, I have been given some records to add to my collection and some of them are in a great state, some aren’t. I’m always worried about mould and wondered if the below images look like mould? Sorry I know they’re hard to see, but it is small spots. Hard to tell If a build up of dust/dirt or mould. The few spots can be seen just above the flash reflection line https://ibb.co/eLK5ZQ Edited September 21, 2017 by Dennis Wilson
fondfarewell
Could be. You can always clean them with some diluted isopropyl alcohol if you're worried (Google for instructions). Make sure to replace the inner sleeves after cleaning.

Mattiktpq
There was a post floating around here on how to properly clean records with windex or the German equivalent to windex. It's full of great home remedies for cleaning mouldy records.

Plarocks
The only way you are able to effectively clean a record that soiled is with a vacuum record cleaning machine. Edited September 22, 2017 by Plarocks
