This is a classic album. Never understood how the masses weren't all over it upon release.

I think I have an OG but I need to check.

It was near the end of the initial alternative rock boom and there was waning interest in this kind of music. in 2 years, we'd have to deal with the likes of limp bizkit, puddle of mudd, creed, et al. which would be the beginning of the end of rock music and pop culture in general.

good record, though. I had an original that I had to sell a couple years ago. looking forward to having it back in my collection.

how's this reissue sound?

This is what I'd like to know. Anyone?

Also, this seems a little too crunched for a single LP.

In a more ideal world, the Japanese-release bonus tracks would have been included, and this thing would have been a double LP.

I'm probably going to have a chance to spin my black copy tonight. Once I do I'll report back.

There’s some slight surface noise throughout but nothing major. Overall sounds good. Did discover my copy has a nice scratch across “Loneliness is Worse” somehow, which is strange because I just got it a couple of days ago and listened for the first time tonight.

Cheers!

How much of an effect does the scratch produce?
