AMAZON U.S. Vinyl Deals & More Thread

I just snagged this at $22.20. Thanks! It spiked back up to $30 minutes after I clicked add to cart.

Any idea what causes the roller coaster of prices? For example, this record has gone up and down for the past couple weeks.

Walmart is having a huge sale for some reason. Amazon price matches Walmart, which is driving these prices up and down.

I wasn't aware that it was Amazon matching Walmart, but I had noticed that they were both offering the same prices. I ordered 13 records from Walmart via Google Express who were offering me an additional 20% off the $100 on my first purchase. I also used my wife's Google account, which didn't seem to have the 20% offer but did receive a $10 discount on the first order for using a referral code from my account, the use of which also earned me a $10 code on my account. Made for some amazing deals.

Really?? I just read the discogs reviews after I already ordered it... I'll see how my copy sounds. One of my favorite films.

I own the version you purchased. It's a mediocre pressing. Some surface noise, few pops/clicks, and it was sloppily cut on edges (that doesn't affect the sound; just seems rushed at the pressing plant). I'm happy to own it, because I love the music. It's listenable, but wish it was a bit higher quality especially since most of the tunes are pretty quiet/ambient. Definitely worth it for $16, cheaper than those $100+ Death Waltz pressings. Wish we could get a vinyl press of the actual soundtrack.

I have that blue Death Waltz press and it's amazing. I would love the actual soundtrack too (Director's Cut version), because it's amazing. We need a score reissue + soundtrack combo. I'd buy it again.
