LPancakes Posted February 24, 2018 Share Posted February 24, 2018 Hi guys, I'm hoping somebody might be able to diagnose an issue I'm having. There's a scratchy noise when I play records, and an intermittent "clock" sound at the same time on each rotation. The sound doesn't come through the speakers or headphones, and is drowned out when I play at higher volumes. It's not a massive deal but I don't think it's natural and I'd rather not damage my records. I've set up the turntable as if unboxing for the first time and the sound still persists.
