nihac
In the 90s, Rob Haworth started hardcore bands such as INSIDE OUT and HARD STANCE – both together with is friend Zach de la Rocha who you know from being the singer in RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE – as well as FARSIDE and the amazing STATE OF THE NATION. SECOND LETTER is a new band Haworth started after a longer break from playing music. Peter Moffett (WOOL, BURNING AIRLINES, GOVERNMENT ISSUE) took place on the drum seat, and Jim Kimball (RETISONIC, J MAJESTY) plays the bass guitar. "Cicatrix" is not a hardcore record though. It brings you super relaxed, melodic rock music, located somewhere between punk, indierock and alternative country. Fans of bands such as SOCIAL DISTORTION, SAMIAM or CHAMBERLAIN should definiftely have a listen. The album artwork has been designed by John Yates, who has created beautiful artworks for many great bands such as BAD RELIGION, DEAD KENNEDYS, ALKALINE TRIO, JAWBRAKER, REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, TOMAHAWK, THE PROMISE RING, ANTI FLAG, and LIFETIME. SECOND LETTER‘s debut album "Cicatrix" is going to be released on Arctic Rodeo Recordings on May 11 2018. The record will be out on colored vinyl LP, including an MP3 download card. The record is now available for pre-order at the Arctic Rodeo webstore. The artist Alexander Hanke has created an amazing design for the limited Zum Heimathafen Art Series. It will be limited to 200 copies, screeprinted by hand, and come together with en exclusive pressing of the LP on silver/gold mixed vinyl. The standard version is pressed on red vinyl. You can place your pre-orders here: SECOND LETTER – "Cicatrix" – Zum Heimathafen Art Series edition – LP on silver/gold mixed vinyl + MP3 card + handmade screenprint SECOND LETTER – "Cicatrix" – standard edition – LP on red vinyl + MP3 card
