hallowken78 352
Anxiously awaiting this. Already got my VIP ticket for the Rats tour now just need some goofy bundles full of gimmicky product to throw my money at.
Reshiram 622
Can't wait to get this on a cylinder record, or maybe I can get it on floppy disc. Who knows at this point. At least Ghost is keeping one mystery left alive.
docbronze 432
This band sounded so promising on Opus Eponymous and now they...don't. scottyrobotty and kevbayer

JohnMatrix 144
This shit is getting cornier by the record. Good for their success I guess but it's become a parody of what it used to be konk

Group Buy Guy 819
I would now like to share my love for Ghost, in haiku format. Ghost can save us all They will make you see the light Papa heals all wounds Plarocks
hallowken78 352
It's been a parody from the start. Ghost is such an odd band in that people project on to them what they envision them to be far more than they actually accept them for what they are. jeffthomas84 and DecayToDeath
JohnMatrix 144
It wasn't a goofy joke in the beginning. Their first couple records are legit good and spooky sounding. They've evolved into a pop rock joke band. Like I said Im glad they (he) succeeded but I'm definitely less and less interested as it gets goofier
shifres 78
They might turned a little more "goofy" but they still rock hard and their live shows (ceremonies) are a spectacle! I'll buy any music with their name on it at the moment.
phantasmatt 79
Opus was absolutely fantastic, really impressed me at the time. Infestissumam started the more theatrical, exaggerated themes but still a well done album which I own. Saw them live on that tour, it was great. Everything after that, hard pass for me. Yes, their entire career is tongue-in-cheek fun, but I can't even make it through a full album after LP2. So hokey, and some of the fan base became a really strange group, comparable to juggalos. No hate, just not my bag. Edited April 12, 2018 by defectiveepitaph docbronze
clerk3745 471
I kinda agree with @defectiveepitaph about the fanbase, but thats not a good enough reason to not like their music. I still dig their sound and will get this for sure.

I don't know why people keep having outstanding expectations for a band that makes Scooby-Doo metal. It's supposed to be campy and corny and exaggerated, that's the point. hallowken78, jeffthomas84 and clerk3745

I couldn't care less about all the trappings or how people interpret their aesthetic; it takes all sorts to make a World. I just don't think their music is enjoyable after the first LP. Well maybe a couple songs on the second LP, too. I accept that bands grow and change, but I'm not wrong because I'm disappointed by their output. I always check out their stuff because I hope it will be a return to Opus, but so far, it ain't. Glad folks enjoy them. Just different strokes, etc.

Opus is a god damn masterpiece of Scooby Doo rock, or something. But I think their goat song is Monstrous Clock. I can loop that shit all day long. docbronze

shifres 78
First impression: I like it overall but it does sounds a bit Motley-Crew-ish at times... especially during chorus.
GhostTrail 207
Looks like that's probably a radio edit. It's missing the ending which Sirius played, which is probably the best part of the song: https://streamable.com/ym0m3 hallowken78 and Kanellos
