Mizmor "Wit's End" 1/14/2022. Vinyl won't go on sale until January.

2 track album? interesting... Love Yodh, Cairn was ok but hasn't clicked with me the same yet. Will be interested to see what this is like...

Some really great stuff out recently. Anybody else enjoying the year end releases?

Apparition, 200 Stab Wounds, Hyperdontia, Worm, Mortiferum, Sijjin

Relapse's 25th anniversary press of Dying Fetus' Purification Through Violence sounds great - and Peaceville's 2021 represses of Cancer's first 2 albums finally came in and both look and sound excellent.

I regret not picking up Apparition and Mortiferum when they were put up.  Have had those two, Hyperdontia and Worm on repeat.

I missed the Apparition PO too, but the "black galaxy swirl" is still available. Picked that up even though it will likely just be slightly transparent black haha. I did manage one of the 2 original Mortiferum variants, but it's delayed along with the Apparition stuff.

Worm is good, I was grateful 20BS put out a second set pressing with the same delivery time as the B1-3 presses, because after listening I was sad I didn't buy - love the shift to more death influence for them.

Edit: Oh, also that Hyperdontia is a sleeper hit. I can't stop listening to it. I REALLY regret missing the green/olive press. Will be keeping my eyes open for any once they start shipping. Great album.

Hammerheart Records have the first two albums from Invocator up for pre-order (Weave the Apocalypse hasn't been released on vinyl before). The debut is classic death/thrash (and the original press has been a bit pricey) and "Weave the apocalypse" is a more modern take on thrash - catchy riffs as hell and stellar musicianship (the vocals on this album are quite different) and a very very overlooked gem of a record.

Nothing really posted about this one yet, and I added it in a post about one of their last albums from a few years back, but maybe it's better here:

I just discovered Plebeian Grandstand have a new album and bought a copy immediately after listening to just a couple tracks --year end material here!

Holy shit I've been waiting all week for this drop! Was gonna post it earlier this week but waited till it dropped instead, lol. But yeah thx! Bot all 4! Kickass technical Thrash! Although the Weave is more in the groove Metal side. Still very technical and thrashy.

Deutsch thrash kicks ass!
