This is $10 more than what the black /green was in store. But I figure the venue usually takes a cut of the sales at shows so the price doesn't shock me at all.

The $60 price point for a “new” record is ridiculous. 

 

And to think I almost gave up my overtime last night because I wanted to go to their concert, and pick up one of these.

 

Glad I chose to work for the extra money, and skip this.

 

For $60 they can KEEP their record.   

 

I will take my $60 to BullMoose, and with my points get 3 or 4 titles that I actually don’t have for the same price!

$60 for a new record directly from the band at a live show is almost a slap in the face. Like what the fuck? I love Sleep but that is some serious price gouging/cash grabbing. Insanity.

While the venue is certainly taking a cut, I wonder how much of the pricepoint is Sleep. 

 

Don't forget this is on Third Man, king of gimmicky and flipper inducing hype. At 60 bucks, you hope that most of these end up in the hands of hardcore fans who are willing to pay that for a record they already own and not to make money. One would assume if you are already at a Sleep show, you did not go just to buy a record to put on ebay.
