I've been collecting vinyl for the past 3 years, and finally gave myself permission to purchase a TT that makes me happy walking in the door after work. I researched a bit (Music Hall, Rega, etc) and decided that U Turn Orbit seemed like a great starter pack for the price, and would give me good sound in my smaller (2000 sq ft) condo. It would also give me something to look forward to later as technology evolved and perhaps I wanted something a bit more true to the sound of vinyl (Ex: Rega). So in addition to 'unsolicited' advice from this forum, I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on black vs. wood grain. Because, ya know. TT style isn't terrible either.
