I don’t see what making this artwork in the center of a record album surrounded by some scratched grooves adds to it, other than it being a little gimmicky. In her About page it says she searched for the perfect canvas for her artwork and eventually settled on vinyl, but she doesn’t really explain why. I think these would look no better or worse in paper, if anything maybe better because you’re not restricted to this rigid format that was never intended for visual art.
