This EU press sounds absolutely pristine. Bloody gorgeous too. God I hope we get more of their stuff reissued.

Just found out it’s a gatefold. I’m hoping they do what they did with the korn reissues we got a few years back but only problem with those was not one was a gatefold. Glad this is done right though.

What did you like about the Korn reissues that you are hoping will be transferred to the Type O Negative release?

Well they were all reissued, most had colors matching the artwork pretty well, a few came with like a poster/huge fold out lyric sheets, and they all sounded fantastic. Self titled is one of the best sounding records I have in my collection

As with most imports, its US street release is later than EU

US is Dec 7th. It available from the usual places(amazon, bullmoose, etc)

Yes, but at a crazy inflated rate. This MOV reissue is region restricted. The usual suspects are importing it themselves and then selling it to us. Way cheaper to buy form a decent European outlet directly.

Seems that this silver MOV 2xLP is more desired than the 3xLP.  Is Euro distros only place to snag one?

What makes you say that?

Yeah sturdy gatefold with embossed silver numbers on the back panel, poly lined inner sleeves 8 page lyric book with some associated album photos and a near 12" by 12" print of the cover sans the typography. Sound quality is really ace and it may be up there with my best sounding records. 180 gram for most of us doesn't mean much and silver may seem at odds with their love of all things green but I have to say this is one of the most beautiful re-issues I've gotten my hands on this year.

Not true. I ordered one in US for about 32 shipped, which is about the normal price of a 2xlp MOV

Port Of Sound put a few more RSD copies up (increased to $59.99 as they normally do though after demand gets higher).  Free shipping and still cheaper than most eBay and Discogs prices I guess.

never ordered from them, but got a few things over the weekend including this at the $49.99 price. order still shows unfulfilled. wondering how long it takes them to ship usually.

I did see on their FB page that they had a pic of all of a lot of boxes packed up from the online orders, so I would assume soon.  While I don't really like the owner, I can say they pack everything really well as far as shipping.

Well kudos to you. That's a rare bird thus far and a nice find. Though my point still stands as even the two places you mentioned by name listed it for $45-50 because of the region restriction and lack of direct distribution.

I ordered the Sweetheart of the Rodeo box from them on Saturday afternoon and it left the post office on Monday so they were pretty quick with that one. Though they have hiked the price a smidge since then.

Hmm. I just checked and I was wrong; I bought the box set late night/early morning as well. Maybe they shipped single item orders faster because they were shy on bulk mailers or something?

Or maybe it's just chaos.

Agreed. Sounds fantastic. One of the best sounding discs I have as well.

Does make me want them to reissue the others even more, the level of quality at that price point is bonkers when i consider how many so-so albums I've spent £25 or more on.

I really hope that's where we're headed. I'd be surprised if they didn't keep coming, there's clearly demand.
