Eh. The art looks great on all of these, but they could have made them way more special. An etching on the B-side, if they were versions of the songs we hadn't heard before, if they were hand numbered. You know, something more worthwhile for $11. It seems like someone threw this idea out last minute which is a bummer because plenty of albums from Rise's back catalogue would sell well and deserve to be pressed

Any mention of when each “wave” will go up?

No, I didn't see anything. I'll update if something comes up... or I'm sure someone will bump this.

On topic though... didn't pay attention to the price tags, but ouch. Glad I'm not into 7"/singles in general. Maybe if I owned a jukebox???

Currently I'm trying to find a jukebox so i can ply 7" and justify owning them. I've found one so far that will actually play 33's and 45s but it's not fully working so debating how much of a money pit I wanna invest in

To me, well worth the investment.  Love my jukebox and it gets used every night.

Well now I have all the questions.
What year/brand?
Did you find it in good working order?
Do you have a local tech who can look at it? If not, have you had to deal with any repairs?

It was working when I got it yes.

Daily played for about 3 years before I needed a tech to come in and fix a few minor things that had slowly went out.

Repairs were around $100.  Someone with basic wiring skills could probably do it...I just don't have those skills.

Also this works as a good post for today:

Just press Of Machines already!

It is kinda crazy to me that labels like Rise (who i'm pretty sure owns their back catalog still) Doesn't do small limited runs of their back catalog. See which ones sell. then do consecutive pressings afterwards.  Seems like a wasted opportunity

They did that for Black Friday in 2016 & 2017 so hopefully they'll do that for this year. I'm not sure if Craig had any influence over that but he left Rise December 2017. These 7"s aren't selling well so hopefully we don't see more of them (at least at these prices) and instead get pressings people want.
