Vintage turnatable without a counterweight

Recommended Posts

Hello, everyone!

I am new in this forum and recently, I finally started to use my vinyl collection. However, I am kind of worry if this turnatable was a good choice. The reason is that is a vintage model (a Panasonic SE 1040) that also has a cassete player inside. It seems that is made of a good material (definetly its not cheap), but it doesn't include a counterweight on it. As far as I used, it´s works great (besides some Inner Groove distortion that I don´t know how to fix), but I am worry if not having a counterweight will be a problem What do you guys think? I can´t upload pictures of the model, but I found a video withthe exact same turnatable that I am using it. I would be please to hear your suggestions. Thank you!
