I just wanted to have one standard single LP to spin if I didn’t feel like flipping/swapping discs. And I was going to support the band/label still by ordering another in its place. I wasn’t talking about not getting the album at all because the variant turned out kind of weak. Anyways, tough guy, I kept my full original PV order AND ordered another copy from Newbury. Fingers crossed the NB variant turns out better, but it’s the same plant so I’m sure it’s going to be a streaky “splatter” as well. I think that tends to look ok on a transparent base, so it could turn out better. If not then people who go with pink or blue will likely have the most aesthetically pleasing variants.
