MississipVol
I purchased a Audio Technica LP120 a couple months ago after a lot of research on the web. I've noticed the turntable has a slight wobble when it plays a record. I have tried pulling it off and setting it down again a couple times and noticed each time it kind of changes the wobble but it is still there. Now to my non-audiophile ears, I don't notice any issues with play back but I am just worried about the long term health of the turntable. I have researched the webs again and found that the company has declared that a little bit of wobble is within spec and does not affect playback or performance. Any thoughts of what I should do from here or just don't worry about it?
zdkaiser
Is your table level? Was it the platter that wobbles, or was the LP simply slightly warped and gave the impression of a wobble? If it's the turntable, I'd return it. Shouldn't be wobbling after a few months of use.
