I never really could figure out how people sit around and listen to soundtracks, like in their entirety.
Unless your going to tell me people are pulling out the LP to just skip around to their fav. tracks.... :')

Skyrim/Fallout/The Witcher are all games you can pour hundreds of hours into. Why not just play the game for a few hours and then you got the score going and you've saved yourself $60-$100.

<3 to the people who are skipping through the Skyrim Atmospheres to their favourite part; This release is literally just random piano hits in a reverb chamber whilst a thunderstorm oozes in and out.

Srsly, I listen to a few OSTs to break up the other stuff mostly when working/masking the heavy breathing of my dog.

Yeah I'm still on the fence about movie scores/soundtracks as well. Like 1) they are generally more expensive than other records because of licensing stuff 2) some just don't make sense without the film.

Like I bought a copy of "Arrival" because that stuff is unique, and Jóhann Jóhannsson was amazing, but then I was like oh let me listen to the "Alien Covenant" score and oh dear is that not interesting/good at all. I kinda need to pick up the recent LOTR presses though.
