V3XED
Heyyyyall' Sumerian is doing a decent sale over on their website. https://www.sumerianmerch.com/ 60% off the stuff they cant seem to sell (Some gems, like Circa Survive, AAL) 40% off of newer things that are in-stock and ready to ship (Born of Osiris, Mestis, Chon, ATB) Also, maybe more exciting, some cool new represses & PO variants on the Periphery back catalog, ATB, BTBAM. angryalan

13tylse
$25 is great for that P2 press, but with $13 shipping??? It's the last one I need for my Periphery discog, but they're absolutely nuts

V3XED
Yeah I did a big order with a friend, so we got to split the shipping in half. They always gouge on the shipping, been that way for over a year.
[Banned User]
What’s the reasoning behind the shipping absurdity? I’d be all over this if I could get standard $5 shipping. Sad!

I’d be all over this if I could get standard $5 shipping. Sad! According to their FAQ: WHY DON'T YOU OFFER MEDIA MAIL? We are aware some companies choose to offer 'Media Mail' as a shipping option for things such as vinyl records and CD's. We have chosen not to simply because more often than not this service leads to packages taking 10+ business days to be delivered. When paired with the fact this is time spent in the elements, these items often become warped and/or damaged in transit with no insurance option available to the customer. This service as defined by USPS is a low-tier, bottom priority service. We believe this is why in the past we've seen packages delivered in heavily damaged conditions, which have included bent jacket corners, cracked jewel cases, pressure cracks on vinyl records as well as media completely broken in half. Ultimately these aren't desirable results for us as collectors, therefore we don't feel comfortable offering this to other collectors. TL;DR "We're too cheap to send out replacements" Edited April 10, 2019 by angryalan N8TRU, mmhmm, V3XED and 1 other

SaulManella
For ten dollar shipping they are in no rush whatsoever to get my stuff out.

Each mailer is painstakingly crafted by hand to the exact measurements of each person’s individual order. Then the mailers are shipped from the North Pole to the warehouse where they are packed up with extra care and lots of love. It really is a heartwarming process. Totally worth $10-$16 dollars. throwgncpr, N8TRU, V3XED and 1 other 1
MCDELTAT
?? Didn't see this until now, but gotta say how the heck did they not did some STYG represses? Diamond's OOP since 2014, Disobedient since 2015, and the Hope Division since 2010. Those would be like immediately sell out-able.

V3XED
Still waiting on these as well, getting a little long in the tooth. That being said, they must be going out to SOMONE, because images have started showing up online. The P2 variant in particular is an absolute show stopper!!! Going to look really nice next to my P1 splatter repress. N8TRU
V3XED
So, if anyone else here ordered Periphery, you probably know the drama by now. But basically the band negotiated with their old label to halt sales of their merch and buy out the inventory. So, the orders all got cancelled and refunded by sumerian. Those exact same pressings are now for sale on Periphery's web store. https://store.periphery.net/ Ill make a separate post for them though.
