gryffinwings
Hi, I'm very new to vinyl, I just started with a Crosley Cruiser to get me started and some records from Goodwill, I realize that the Crosley isn't very good, but it's what I could get at the time, it was essentially brand new in box. I am tempted to get myself a scale to measure how much weight is being applied to my records and maybe modify this player with some added counter weight and a different needle, although it will still won't sound the best. Anyways, enough of my rambling. I've run into several budget used record players that are potentially better than what I have now and I would like some advice on if these are any good: 1. Denon DP-26f ($30) (Was working but isn't now) 2. Marantz TT-155 (with Pickering Cartridge $25) 3. Kenwood KD-291R (comes with Kenwood CT-201 Cassette Deck and a kenwood shelf $40) I really haven't been able to find much information on these, and would appreciate some help figure out which would be ok to go with. Thanks in advance.
