veggiecorecords
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of an extremely special album, Frightened Rabbit bring Tiny Changes: A Celebration of The Midnight Organ Fight, a collection of covers from some of the band's friends to make up the tracklisting. The whole album was recorded and was due to be released last summer, but then Scott tragically passed away last May. The band have decided they still want to release the record as a testament to the album, and to Scott. It’s going to be released on 12th July via Atlantic, and the band are going to be very much behind the release. * Now up on FR webstore: https://store.warnermusic.com/canvasback/artists/frightened-rabbit.html https://www.banquetrecords.com/frightened-rabbit/tiny-changes%3A-a-celebration-of-the-midnight-organ-fight/0190295525613 SIDE A Biffy Clyro – The Modern Leper Oxford Collapse – I Feel Better Fiskur – Good Arms vs Bad Arms Right On Dynamite – Fast Blood Josh Ritter – Old Old Fashioned SIDE B Wintersleep – The Twist The Philistines Jr. – Bright Pink Bookmark Craig Finn – Head Rolls Off Harkin & Sarah Silverman – My Backwards Walk SIDE C Benjamin Gibbard – Keep Yourself Warm Inletts– Extrasupervery Daughter – Poke The Twilight Sad – Floating In The Forth Aaron Dessner & Lauren Mayberry - Who'd You Kill Now? Skacel
I'll pick this up from my local store. The Twilight Sad have been doing a cover of Keep Yourself Warm on their tour. It's pretty powerful stuff, brings a tear to the eye. thesewoodenideas
AlexH.
Hmm, hard to imagine this holding up as a cohesive unit so this is probably something I'll just get digitally and cherry pick the good tracks. Cool that this is happening though!

There was live footage of the MO covering this one live and it was tonally spot on. As far as everyone saying this won't stand up as a cohesive unit ya'll probably right, I still snagged the vinyl because I'm a Clyromaniac and wanted to show some love. Daughter covering Poke is sure to be a real tearjerker and of course The Twilight Sad can do no wrong so I'm still happy.
