I originally felt it wasn't quite my cup of tea as well, but I keep thinking about listening to it again so something's got me hooked. It's very well made regardless. I’ve only listened to it twice in drives and was kinda giddy about the crazy sound choices but pretty disappointed by the vocals. Asking because the vocals are 100% the reason I can’t stomach this band. Actually enjoy some of the mathy songwriting and curveballs, but not enough to get over those vox. Man the vocals are basically peering up from the bottom of the ocean they're so murky. It's super noticeable if you're used to the first album.
