ghost
Does anyone know where to look for 4" sized vinyl records? I've tried searching on discogs but no one seems to really sell these in bulk from the US. Not sure how common these are in local record shops, but I'm curious if people know any shops that carry these. Not looking to spend more than like $3 a pop. I'm also aware of the pocket disc flexi-discs, but they're not quite what I'm looking for as they're too thin. Thanks. stl_ben
Use those filters on discogs: https://www.discogs.com/sell/list?sort=price%2Cdesc&format_desc=4"&limit=250&ships_from=United+States&format=Vinyl 4" vinyl records that ship from the US. Anything else?
ghost
@stl_ben: Yup, already tried that. I'm looking to buy multiple though and for dirt cheap. Was wondering if there are record shops that people knew about that might carry these and know how much they typically go for. *edited my post with these details Edited January 13, 2020 by ghost
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Is this for an art project?

There are so few records that have been released at the 4" size and even fewer that have a low value.

I called up a bunch of record stores and, unsurprisingly, none of them had anything like that. I ended up ordering some off of a seller in Russia on discogs. One Hundred Fifty-Two
Can you just cut down a 7” record? There is a device that can cut the middle of a 7” to switch from small hole to large hole for use in jukebox. You could make something similar for yourself to cut the record from 7” to 4”. ghost
@Tidal Wave: not a bad idea. For this though, I want the center of the record to be intact. I suppose I could shave the corners off, but I figure it'd end up looking messy since I don't have the right tools. I ended up ordering a batch 4" records though.
