hallowken78
So I'm finally getting rid of my condo and buying a house. 5 bedrooms, a living room, family room, and finished basement at my disposal. Problem is, I've only got 1 record player. So where the hell should I put it?!?! Do any one you have more than 1 and, if so, where do you put them? mameeshkamowskwoz
Any but the bedroom. Do you plan to listen to records when entertaining or just by yourself and/or partner? Seems like that's the deciding factor. For me, I have one downstairs in the living room and upstairs in our "loft". When we didn't have a kid (two years ago) we'd hang out in the loft and play records with company or alone. Now that's not an option with a baby sleeping in the next room (I can still listen alone with headphones). Even if we only had one, I'd still have it in the loft to accommodate all the records. We can still play records when we have company downstairs. hallowken78
stl_ben
I have them in multiple rooms....basically anywhere you want to be able to listen to them.
somethingvinyl
One in the living room, one in my bedroom. But I have two extra record players (one needs service). I also have a couple broken ones in my closet I got super cheap but I've never sat down and tried to tinker with them. nickj
hallowken78
I currently only have 1 player, but I think I’ll have to add another to the repertoire once I’m settled in to give myself options.

mameeshkamowskwoz
Hey, when a user's less-than-tenth post isn't about a survey for their college class I'm more than willing to call them a solid contributor.
Mars
I currently only have one and it definitely negatively impacts the frequency of my listening
Shitty Rambo
Just one record player in my entertainment/guitar room, and Google Homes in mostly every other room. Hope my FBI guy is enjoying the show.
faaip de oiad
Recently moved to a new home(actually one year as of 11-13-21). I never thought I'd need more than one record player. But I didn't get the record room setup until this summer but in the meanwhile I had my old ATLP120 setup in the living room while my record room had all the uhaul boxes 3000+ records. So then I finally organized my record room with 3 ikea 5×5 and my Rega RP3 and just left the ATLP120 in the living room. I like it like that way. Now I'm planning on setting up an old Hitachi HT-L70 linear tracking turntable with a shelf system in the bedroom. My wife thinks I'm crazy but I think I'm right here. What do you guys think? Anyways...
dethrock
I've got one setup in my living room on the main floor of my house. Turntable as well as a Bluesound Node. Also a second stereo in my basement with a turntable and another Bluesound Node. I use the one on my main floor more although it's a cheaper setup.
