Think it'll have the same effect all around? yes definitely .. all the project "acrylic it " platter is, is a piece of acrylic .. it will 100% give you the same benefit as the branded one (provided you make it the same) .. thats all that project does... they goto plastics manufacturers and ask exactly what you are going to ask PLUS you will be going direct to the manufacturer SO you can have ANY colour you like too!!
